When does planting begin for pumpkin?
A thermophilous pumpkin can not win wet-cold weather so. So that the plant does not immediately start with a growth depression in the season, the planting time begins in mid-May. On the 15th of the month, when the iguanas have passed, the pumpkin plant is allowed to go outside.
Given the short time to maturity, we recommend growing under glass. If you sow the seeds in the house between 15 and 25 April, the seedlings are strong enough for planting in the bed after 3 to 4 weeks.
