Maintain the lucky clover in the house properly
The lucky clover of the subspecies Oxalis tetraphylla makes it easy to find a four-leaf clover at the turn of the year: In this popular New Year's Eve lucky charm, all leaves are equipped with the coveted leaf shape, which is only an anomaly in other clover varieties. In order for the lucky clover, which is usually sold in a pot, to have any longer-term chances of survival, it should not be exposed to deep, low temperatures before or during New Year's Eve. Since the lucky clover is drawn just before the turn of the year, he usually does not hibernate. It should therefore be brought through the winter according to the following criteria:
The triangular lucky clover
Increasing popularity is also the Triangular lucky clover (Oxalis triangularis), whose white-pink colored flowers in a soft contrast to the green to violet-colored leaves. This clover can be grown in the room all year round, but it should not be exposed to direct midday heat. Better are therefore window locations with morning or evening sun. Although the soil should never dry out completely, it should not be permanently damp due to the risk of waterlogging.

Although the clover (Cytisus x racemosus) is a popular spring messenger for the window sill, in too warm a location they quickly lose their yellow flowers and the leaves fall off. Ideal for the care of these Kleeart locations with temperatures between 12 and 18 degrees Celsius. The honeydew clover grown in the pot on the terrace can be wintered in the house in a bright place, when the winter quarters have a frost-free temperature of less than 10 degrees Celsius.
Tips
As a houseplant, the clover generally has no great importance. Some varieties of lucky clover and the Geißklee but can represent an enrichment on the windowsill or on the balcony.
