Sometimes spraying only helps against fruit fly infestation

If spraying can not be avoided
If prevention is not possible, eg. B. with an old cherry tree, the gardener has no choice but to treat the fruit with a suitable spray, if you do not want to give up the harvest. For this purpose, suitable spray products are offered for use in a home garden.
Ecologically safe, the sprays are not, as their use also attacks the beneficials and damage adjacent plantations and not least can have an impact on the health of people. The decision whether or not to use the "chemical mace" should be made by each gardener on his own responsibility, taking into account that spraying is only effective if it extends to all stocks.
The spraying is carried out at the beginning of the flying time of fruit flies. In no case is sprayed during flowering. The spraying is best done in overcast skies and windlessness. It is beneficial if the surface of the plant is damp from dew or rain, because then the broth is better distributed. The use of a commercial spray pump and protective clothing makes sense.
