Is cauliflower on the dog menu?
Home-prepared food for dogs should be varied and vegetables should not be missing. Cauliflower has a high vitamin C content and with potassium, calcium and phosphorus it provides the dog important minerals. However, the cauliflower is only pleasant for the dog when it is cooked.
Cooked or steamed
Cooked or steamed, cauliflower is well tolerated. Because of the risk of flatulence, it should be fed to small dogs only. Cauliflower must be mashed like other vegetables. Only in this way does the dog benefit from the valuable vitamins and minerals.
Do you notice that your dog does not like the cauliflower or does not tolerate it, you should feed another vegetable variety.
