Dress the garden house from the inside - is that useful?

When cladding the interior walls of the arbor, it is usually about the additional insulation. But this can also make sense if you want to beautify the interior and, for example, wallpaper or plaster. Dressing up the interior is very easy, with a little manual skill, this work is done in a short time.

If you want to insulate, additionally one of the following insulation materials:

Slatted frame and insulation

First attach the battens so that a framework is created. How you build this is based, among other things, on how big the later mounted plasterboards or profiled wooden boards are. If you want to insulate, the distances should be calculated so that the insulation fits exactly between the slats.

Drill all holes with a thin drill to prevent splintering of the wood. The framework is then fastened to the outside wall with spax screws. Afterwards, the insulating material pas is cut and inserted.


Attention: If you use glass or rock wool mats, be sure to wear a mask and gloves.

Install the panel

Now attach the plasterboards or furniture panels. Then the interior lining is painted, wallpapered or plastered according to your own taste.

If you have decided on profiled wooden boards, you should glaze them in advance. The grooves are attached to the battens with the tacker, so this work is done very quickly.

Tips

You can dress the blanket in the same way. If you also want to give the floor a new look, you can use planks or hard-wearing OSB boards.
