Fennel not only tastes good to us humans, even dogs love to eat it sometimes. However, in some dogs it should only be mixed with other vegetables, otherwise the high proportion of essential oils can lead to rejection of the food.

Fennel can be used for the necessary intake of vitamin C, if dogs are fed otherwise only with raw meat. Fennel is not toxic to dogs, it can be fed both raw and cooked. As for humans themselves, cultivation in their own garden can ensure that they are unencumbered tubers.

Puree or cooked fennel if your dog does not accept it in solid form. It also has a soothing effect on digestive complaints and flatulence in dogs.
