Torch lilies are not poisonous
It is often read that torch lilies should be poisonous. However, according to previous findings, the perennial belonging to the family of the grass-tree family contains no toxins. It is therefore also suitable for gardens with children and cats.
Torch lilies are non-toxic ornamental plants
Although it is often read on the Internet, torch lilies are not among the poisonous ornamental plants. They can therefore be safely cared for in gardens where children play.
There are so far no poisoning cases become known, which were caused by the consumption of parts of the torch lily.
Often the perennials are drawn with their decorative flowers in public parks. This too is a sign that the plants pose no danger to children or pets.
