The tree-worm (bot., Celastrus orbiculatus) is quite as brutal as its name sounds. He can actually kill little trees. In humans, however, this should be difficult for him, because he is only slightly toxic.
The winter-hardy tree shrike can grow up to 15 meters high, winding itself around trees like a snake. Are these still young (under 20 centimeters trunk diameter) then you are strangled by this climbing bush outright. Therefore, better give him a climbing aid aside, because even on house facades he can cause considerable damage.
