You can sow the amaranth (also known as foxtail) as early as March, at home in a warm place. The pre-culture is recommended until the end of April. Thereafter, direct sowing is better.
If you want to sow the amaranth directly in the field, you should not do so before mid-May. The ice saints should be over. Otherwise, there is a risk that the young plants freeze by night frost. By June at the latest, you can seed the seeds as direct sowing.
