Pour the venus flytrap in the damming process
It is best to pour your Venus flytrap over a coaster. The saucer is filled one to two centimeters high with water and put the pot into it.
If the moisture has been absorbed, wait two days and then add more liquid to the coaster.
Never pour with tap water
Kalkhaltiges tap water does not tolerate the Venus flytrap. Use only rainwater for casting.
If rainwater is not available, you can also take still mineral water. Distilled water should only be used in exceptional cases. It no longer contains any minerals that the plant needs for healthy growth.
Tips
If possible, never pour Venus fly traps from above. If necessary, you may wet the leaves with a water spray to increase the humidity.
